Remotes Committee
Mission:  To carry the message to remote communities of the North, as defined by Language, Culture and Location, as defined in Area 80 Handbook.
Vision statement: Our Committee will work to establish long-term, meaningful relationships/partnerships with local leaders in rural communities throughout Manitoba to meet the needs of each community.
Priorities:Our Committee has established the following three priorities, based on what is achievable with our available resources, with clear timelines.Priority #1: Increase participation in weekly Remotes AA meeting on Telehealth.Priority #2: To provide supports to communities as requested e.g. provide information such as how to access literature, attend Remotes AA meeting/other AA meetings on Zoom, how to set up an AA meeting).Priority #3: Travel to as many rural/remote communities as possible each year for community outreach.
